Moist weather were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this next several days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
Tuesday was forecast to be the wettest day, with continued thunderstorm potential expected across different parts of both states.

Public health experts alerted that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, particularly given the current weather patterns.
